Penang has made its mark as a well known health tourism destination in the world, courtesy of past efforts by those in the health and tourism industries, Tourism Ministry and local government agencies. The recent initiative in organizing the first Health+Beauty Fair 2007 has also impacted tremendously on the HnB industry in Penang which benefited the business sectors and the public as a whole.

This is evident in the mushrooming of saloons, spas, clinics and health shops both in Penang Island and the mainland. Penangites has never before enjoy tremendous improvement of their healthy lifestyles through greater awareness of health and beauty care and the availability of choices for personal wellness from the Fair.

The Health+Beauty Fair 2009 will open up avenues for local and international exhibitors to network for business opportunities and for new brands to penetrate Penang’s market.

It is thus given the official endorsement and recognition by the Penang State Government and the Ministry of Health Malaysia. 槟州已成为世界上一个著名的健康与美容地标，这是由以前健康与旅游从业者，旅游部，以及本地政府机构所作出的努力所致。从主办槟州的2007年第一届健康+美容展销会开始在槟州的健康与美容行业已掀起了许多高潮，并也使此些行业和公众获利良多。

这可从许多在槟州新建立的美容院，水疗中心，治疗中心和保健中心证明这一点。槟城人不但可获得从未经历过美容与健康生活方式的改变和醒觉，并可从中选择个人所适用的产品和服务。
