Beauty exhibition in Penang. I was very encouraged by this inaugural
event & as a Penang based company I sincerely hope it to be the
first of many.

Congratulations for your bold move to organise the 1st Penang Health
& Beauty Week. Promoting Penang as a health and beauty hub is very
important because the baby boomers (people born in 1940s to 1960s) is
the single largest age group worldwide and their needs are the biggest
consumer demand. They are also the biggest consumer spenders. Today
what they are looking for is to look younger, live a healthy life
longer and stay energetic. It has been predicted by famous US
economist, Paul Zane Pilzer, that the wellness business is going to be
the trillion dollar business this century. We do not want Penangites to
miss out this big business pie.
My participation in your expo has been most fruitful, particularly
because we were selected by BERNAMA for an interview, and I appeared in
3 TV stations: Astro Ria, Astro Prima and RTM2. It has helped my
regional business tremendously due to the high credibility given to
Pharmanex, especially from renowned TV stations. We received countless
referrals to our products due to that huge exposure.
Networking especially in expos and trade shows can create the Butterfly
Effects - where fluttering of the wings of a species of butterfly was
known to create huge change in the weather of a region. Our networking
in expos might seem to be little effort but it might take us to places
we never thought of!

Well done for the successful event organized last December. It was our
first participation and obviously it would be in our schedule for the
future plans. The Health+Beauty Fair for the Nothern Region at PISA
last 29th December- 30th December 2007 opened up a lot of business
opportunities for the participants and also advertised the companies to
